AI Systems · Cannabis Retail

AI systems for dispensaries, built inside one.

I co-founded Ajoya in 2010 and run two Colorado locations today. The AI systems I build for cannabis retailers are the ones running my own stores every morning: daily sales KPI reports, retention scorecards, and briefings your managers actually read.

One system, two locations, eleven days of live results

On July 17, we relaunched the loyalty and CRM program at Ajoya. New platform, new sign-up rules, new welcome sequence. And one more thing: an automated daily KPI report, delivered to staff at both locations, showing first-time customers, contact capture rate, and how many local customers we missed.

Capture went from a number nobody saw to a number everyone talks about.

To be straight with you: several changes launched at once, so these numbers are the combined effect of the new program and the daily reporting. That’s how real operations work, and I’d rather show you real numbers than clean ones.

This is a live experiment. We’ll update these figures as we go, including any that stall. Next full read: August 17.

What I Build for Cannabis Retail02

Daily sales KPI report

Revenue, ticket, traffic, capture, and discount rate against your own baselines, delivered to staff before open. Anomalies flagged, per store and per associate.

Retention scorecard

Systems that watch customer behavior and surface who needs attention before they quietly leave. Ranked, with context and a suggested action.

Daily briefing systems

Start every day knowing what matters: numbers, exceptions, follow-ups, and priorities, assembled automatically.

Straight Talk

I still run my own stores

I don’t take on dispensaries that compete directly with my Colorado locations. Everyone else gets the systems I use myself, tested on my own floor before they ever reach yours.
